My Testimony & Why I Started Buildeth Her Home
For years, I wanted a home that felt peaceful, steady, and rooted in Christ — but I had no idea how to actually build one. I loved the Lord, yet my days still felt loud, overwhelming, and often out of order. Somewhere between motherhood, marriage, and the constant demands of life, I realized I wasn’t lacking effort… I was lacking direction.
I kept trying harder — better schedules, more routines, more effort — yet peace still felt out of reach. The problem wasn’t that I didn’t care about my home or my family. The problem was that I had never been shown how to build a life ordered around God instead of around urgency.

Little by little, the Lord began changing the way I saw my role as a wife and mother. Scripture stopped being something I only read and started becoming something I lived inside ordinary moments — dishes, correction, patience, and serving when no one noticed. My home didn’t become perfect, but it did begin to grow peaceful.
That’s why I created Buildeth Her Home. Not because I have everything figured out, but because I know how lonely it feels trying to figure this life out without guidance. I wanted a place where women could grow in Christ while learning to love their homes instead of feeling defeated by them.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed in your home yet deeply desired to honor God inside it, you’re not alone here. I’m still learning, still growing, and I’m grateful you’re walking this road with me. My prayer is that this space helps you build a home that reflects Christ one ordinary day at a time.
